| Speakerphone |

| Voice-Activated Dialing |
A feature that allows you to speak the name of the person you'd like to call and the phone will dial their number. A very beneficial feature as it allows you to dial while keeping your hands free to drive or do whatever you're doing.

| Text Messaging Capable |
The ability of the phone to send and receive short text messages, usually under 150 characters in length. When you receive a message, it will be displayed on your phone's display screen. You can reply to the message by using the letters that correspond to the numbers on the keys. You can also send text messages to any text messaging capable phone, pager, or to any email address.

| MP3 Player |
The phone includes storage for mp3s or similar music files. Usually, the music is downloaded to the phone from a computer and played back through a headset attached to the phone.

This feature uses GPS technology to tell you where you are and what's nearby. GPS also provides voice prompted turn-by-turn directions, point-of-interest locators, and self-locating functionality.

Get TV on your cell phone on the go. Whenever and wherever you want (network coverage permitting of course.) Programming varies by carrier.

| Push to Talk Capable |
A technology that allows instant connection to other Walkie-Talkie or Push to Talk enabled users. Connection is typically made through a secure digital network and can be more economical than regular cell phone calls.

| Removable Memory |
Some phones come with a slot for a removable memory card. This allows you to expand the amount of memory that comes with the phone. Phones that have this memory card slot take a SD, Mini SD or Micro SD memory card.

| Style Family |
Basic Calling - These phones are just for making calls. They do not have a camera or video recorder.
Fun - These models have a built-in camera for taking and sending photos directly from your phone to other handsets or email addresses. They may also have Bluetooth, the capability to record video and a music player but they do not support all of these features.
Hybrid - Phones in this family have hidden design features (such as gaming functionality and hidden keyboards) that are not immediately obvious when looking at the handset.
Multi-Media - These phones have a built-in camera, an MP3 player and can record video. These models usually have an expandable memory slot that can be used to store and save photos, videos, and music files.
Work - Primarily designed to support multiple email accounts while on-the-go, these phones have a built-in QWERTY keyboard and offer the ability to synch PIM information and other files stored on a computer out-of-the box.
